During the cold Kiwi winter, I was lucky to escape and shoot Swimwear for the talented Carena West. Musket Cove island in Fiji was a stunner of a location. Fiji sure put on a show weather wise, shot on a beauty 28 degree day, cant complain! We had so much fun creating some epic images, you cant get much better then that backdrop!

I had so much fun shooting this fashion segment for Junction Magazine's March issue. Filled with cosy earthy tones, beautiful silks and linens and knits. The perfect feel for these next months as its cooling down. What's even cooler, all of the garments can be found in our local stores around Matakana :)

Malola Swim

First night of daylight savings 2015 we really made use of the extra hour of glorious sunlight. Together with a bunch of cool, local and talented chicks, we hit the beach and brought on some of those summer feel good vibes. And what a cracker of an evening!

With awesome company of (Malola Swim creator/designer) Lauren Holehouse, model Gracelyn Balzat, Shona Stevenson Makeup Artistry and my little cousin Courtenay on gear holding duties ;), we had loads of laughs and created some epic images. A few images from an epic morning adventuring north with Richard Hodder! Catching the first light, climbing hills, brews in the forest and old smoke bombs that were past their used by date (whoops)! Hodder is a super talented surf and landscape photographer. His jaw dropping images are inspiring to anybody who loves the outdoors so I was privileged to shoot with him!

Micah

It's hard to believe that moments before I captured these photos of Micah there had been, sandstorms, heavy rain and gail force winds. After it subsided we were left with the most beautiful naturally lit, magical atmosphere and I'm so glad we endured the storm for it. The white dunes and dreamy light definitely made this Gyspy Inspired Shoot a fave.
